6/23/10 - Midwest Transit received the Distinguished Service Award from IAPT/ISTA.

3/10 - Midwest Transit placed 9th out of the 20 companies in Kankakee County with a 146% increase in contributions from their 2009 contributions to United Way.

3/10 - The Bridgewater Family Foundation accepted the Alexis de Tocqueville Society award for the second year in a row.

12/05/09 - In an ongoing effort to support the local community, Midwest Transit employees donate to United Way of Kankakee County.

9/09 - Just released!! Midwest Transit Equipment, Inc. distributes the first issue of their brand new magazine, Transportation Solutions.

6/13/09 - Midwest Transit Equipment, Inc. proudly sponsored a team for the 2009 Relay for Life of Kankakee County. MTE employees, spouses, friends and family participated in this event in support of the American Cancer Society.
